Porti is a work conceived as a result of intensive study of how shapes and forms are perceived by the observer. The stool, Porti, which can also be used as a side table, reflects this study.

As the opposing legs are angled 5 degrees opposite directions, Porti resembles a four legged creature moving forwards. The moulded wood outer shell supports this association with an abstract animal. The observer immediately forms an emotional bond with the stool which provokes feelings of vivacity, trust and friendship.
